Our Home Sweet Gnomes are meant to be shelf-sitters. While they can withstand a gentle hug every now and then, noses and other small parts can pose a choking hazard and they are not designed to withstand the daily love of a child.
All pieces in our DIY gnome making kits are pre-sewn. Sewing skills are not required to complete your kit.

All gnome base bottoms range from 2.5"-3" across. Gnomes will end up being 6-12" tall depending on hat style.
-Slouchy hat gnomes - 6"-8" tall
-Bent hat gnomes - 7"-10" tall
-Curled hat gnomes- 8"-12" tall
-Straight and wavy hat gnomes - 8"-12" tall
Our mystery kits are made from the best-of-the-best when it comes to gnome making supplies! We hand curate every single mystery kit with our top tier supplies. While we cannot guarantee that you will love the colors we choose (everyone is SO different), we can guarantee that they are top quality!
We do offer a MISFIT kit with our second stock materials here.
SUPPLIES INCLUDED IN YOUR KIT BOX:
- one pre-sewn gnome body
- one pre-sewn gnome hat made from a sock
- a small piece of long pile faux fur cut into the shape of a beard
- one 3/4" wood ball nose
- one small elastic hair tie
- one wire for shaping your gnome hat
- an embellishment for the hat may or may not be included, depending on the kit
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED! YOU WILL NEED TO SUPPLY THESE ITEMS:
- 1/3 cup of rice, beans, or poly beads
- polyester fiber fill for stuffing the body and hat

You should have received an email link to download your PDF pattern within ten minutes of placing your order. Be sure to check your junk and promotions folders for the download email. If you can't find the email, please contact us here with your order number and we will send the pattern to you as soon as we are able!
As you can imagine, it has taken us a lot of time and research to source quality materials for our gnomes. We offer many of the supplies needed to make your gnomes here on our website. We hope you will check them out!
We are taking a short break from creating finished gnomes for drops and other large scale events. We will be dropping a few finished gnomes here and there that we assemble for kit samples or when creativity strikes! Make sure you sign up for our newsletter below to be notified of any finished gnomes dropping on our websit.
We use the USPS for every order unless discussed with you ahead of time! All orders are shipped using First Class Mail unless the order weight is greater than 1lb.
Domestic shipping to the United States usually takes about 5-6 business days.
Due to the volume of orders we ship each day, we cannot guarantee that we will see multiple orders shipping to the same address. If you place more than one order, you can send us a message here and if your first order is not yet packaged, we may be able to combine shipping.
Due to recent tax law changes, the only country we ship to outside of the United States is Canada. We love our international customers and regret having to make this change. We hope that someday we are able to comply with regulations and offer international shipping again!
We do not accept returns on finished gnomes, but if you have any issues with a finished gnome, you can contact us here and we will do everything we can to take care of your issues!
We do accept returns on supply orders and DIY kits. Due to the time sensitive nature of our holiday/seasonal themed items, you must contact us within 3 business days of receiving your order and the package must be delivered back to our warehouse within 10 business days to receive your refund. Shipping charges are non-refundable. To request a return, please contact us here.
